Question:
What does the Laser Printer Fuser do?
Answer:
The fuser is the system that melts the toner onto the medium. The hot-roll and the back-up roller make up the fuser system. When the toner is transferred to the paper in the printer the fuser then applies heat and pressure to ensure that the toner is permanently impressed on the paper. The fuser is the reason why the paper coming out laser printers is warm.
